Uniform

All children are required to wear school uniform as it is practical, looks smart and creates a strong sense of school identity.  The school colours are red, white, grey or black.

We have a large stock of excellent quality second hand uniform at very low prices. If you require any items, please speak to the office and they will be happy to help you.

• Red sweatshirt or red cardigan*
• White or red polo shirt*
• Grey or black trousers, shorts, skirts, or pinafore dress
• Grey or black skort, (a skirt incorporating tailored shorts)
• Grey, black or red tights
• Red, grey, or black socks. White socks with red check frills can be worn in the summer
• Red checked summer dress
• Completely black (including branding/laces/soles) leather/faux leather, polishable shoes. No heels or boots and shoes should have a closed toe. All leather black trainers can be worn

PE kit

A change of clothing, PE Kit, is necessary for all forms of physical exercise for safety and hygiene reasons.  It should consist of:

• Plain black sports shorts*
• Red t-shirt* 
• Jogging bottoms or leggings and sweatshirt (for colder weather)

Other items of uniform are available in most high street stores or supermarkets.

Jewellery

Jewellery is discouraged and children will be asked to remove anything other than small studs and a watch. If ears are newly pierced we ask that tape is provided to cover the studs whilst taking part in physical activities.

Hair

Long hair must be tied up for PE lessons - please ensure your child has a hair bobble.   Hair should not be coloured. 

Children are not allowed to wear novelty headbands or bows.

Year R

As we place a great deal of emphasis on outdoor learning, children will also need a pair of wellies and a raincoat or waterproof puddle suit (to remain in school) in Year R.

Bags

No rucksacks are to be used in school - a book bag and PE bag provides enough space for children to carry their belongings in. 

Please ensure that items of clothing are named, this will enable us to return lost property to its rightful owner.
