Owls and Rabbits

Welcome

Mrs Clark and Mrs Hayes teach in Owls and Mrs Clements and Miss Hamblyn teach in Rabbits. They are supported by our dedicated Learning Support Assistants (LSAs): Mrs Binns, Mrs Thomas and Mrs Allwright (mornings only).

If you have any questions, please get in touch with your child's teacher. If they are not around at drop-off or pick-up, you can speak to them by phoning the school office and requesting an appointment.

Our EYFS Aspirations

50 things to do before leaving Lydlynch Infant School

At Lydlynch Infant School we are proud of the enrichment activities we are able to provide. As a school we aim to give the children as many experiences that enrich the broad and balanced curriculum we offer. This was put together in consultation with pupils and staff.

Each Year R child has a copy of our '50 Things' so they can tick them off at home. This also provides a prompt for the children to talk about the things they have been doing at school.

September 2025

In EYFS this month, we've been settling into our school routines, making new friends, and building positive relationships with both peers and adults. We've been learning about our families, exploring how each one is unique. We've also been discussing the importance of kindness and sharing, especially as we learn about the harvest festival. It's been a lovely start to the year, full of curiosity and connection!

Week Beginning 29th September

This week in maths we’ve been practicing subitizing in lots of different forms and activities. Subitizing is the rapid and automatic ability to instantly perceive the quantity of a small set of items without counting them 🎲
