Class Teacher Fixed Two terms from September 2021– April 2022

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, well organised, outstanding class teacher for Lydlynch Infant School.   We are a good school and our children are happy and enjoy coming to school.  We are keen to maintain this momentum through the appointment of a dynamic, creative teacher.

This position is suitable for NQTs.  The start date is 1st September 2021 and is for two terms to cover a secondment.

THE FEDERATION OF

Caretaker Permanent from September 2021

30 hours per week – split shifts – 52 weeks per year

Closing date:  25th June  

Interviews: 2nd July

 

 Due to the impending retirement of our fantastic Caretaker we are seeking a highly committed, enthusiastic and energetic individual to join us.

We need someone who:

  • is a “hands on” people person who can develop and implement systems/procedures as well as maintain current ones
  • is sympathetic to environmental concerns regarding the school and grounds
  • can contribute to projects and maintenance schedules
  • is practical, with good DIY skills
  • will be the nominated person for aspects of Health and Safety (training will be given)
  • has good problem solving skills
  • can supervise cleaning staff and manage contractors.
  • is flexible and sensitive to the needs of a wide range of users of the school
  • is trustworthy and takes pride in their work
  • Undertake key-holder responsibilities and be prepared to attend out of hours’ emergency call outs
  • can prioritise and manage a workload efficiently and independently
  • Undertake checks and maintain records to meet the statutory health and safety requirements e.g. COSHH, Legionella, risk assessments, fire and intruder alarms etc

 

We are a cheerful, thriving Federation across two infant schools in Totton.  We are full of hard working staff and children, supported successfully by a skilled Governing Body and an increasingly engaging parent community. 

 

As a Federation, we share expertise and enthusiasm across both schools, making a big difference to the lives and futures of the children we teach.  We are looking for a committed and passionate caretaker who will share our aspirational and optimistic outlook.

The Federation operates under the leadership of one Executive Head teacher and a single Governing Body. The staff and stakeholders work together within a supportive team ethos and we are all committed to our inclusive ethos and on-going improvement.

Your contract would be to the Federation and you would therefore benefit from the professional opportunities across both schools. Training from Hampshire Caretaking Services will be provided.
