The children in Year R have been exploring instruments and their sounds.  They have been learning how to play loud, quiet and soft.  The children loved having their adults come in to listen to our 'Noisy orchestra' and to perform our song 'When Goldilocks went to the house of the bears.' with the instruments they had been playing.

 

They really enjoyed making their own instrument with their grown up using lots of junk modelling, paper, card and other materials.

 

We had lots of fun and made lots of noise!

It's Children's Mental Health Awareness Week!

 

This week the children are taking part in activities that promote self-confidence, self-belief, resilience and positivity!

 

Each day we will be taking part in a song and dance to help us remember important things such as 'The Power of Yet' and 'Never giving up'. Ask your child if they can repeat these songs and dances back to you.
