    Sports day for Year R and KS1 was a great success again this year. All the children loved taking part and showing off their skills to parents. Some parents even joined in too!

  • Teachers Reading Role Model Challenge

    The teachers have also been set a summer reading challenge and a book review to complete, so they become reading role models. They will be sharing these books with their new classes in September.

  • The Great Fire of London

    KS1 experienced the Great Fire today as an outcome to their learning journey. They were able to see how quickly their houses caught on fire and how the fire spread in the wind.

  • World Book Day

    The children have been fully immersed in the delights of books today to celebrate World Book Day. The have read and listened to lots of stories and even experienced a real author, Kaye Umansky, read one of her books, Dick the Delightful Duck live book reading. 

    The children all look fantastic, thank you very much for all your help and support in creating book characters.

  • Aaron Phipps Paralympic Gold Medallist

    We had a visit from Aaron Phipps, wheelchair rugby gold medallist. The children listened to his story and shared with us the importance of believing in yourself and perseverance. It was very inspirational and the children loved asking him questions. Aaron said the children "were all amazing and really well-behaved. They are a credit to the school".

  • Honeypot Children's Charity

    Parents have been busy sending in gifts to go to The Honeypot Children's Charity. This charity offers respite breaks and wrap-round services to give young carers (5-12 year olds), with responsibilities beyond their years, the opportunity to create happy memories and build brighter futures. Viv and Bumble the bumblebee visited us to thank the children for all of their kind donations.
