    KS1 made lanterns for the Totton Lantern Parade. They were helped by one of the organisers, Caroline, and the children were very proud of their creations.

    The children looked amazing in their spotty outfits for Children in Need. We talked about why we were dressed in spots and where the money we raised was going. Thank you to all our families who helped us raise £175.23

    Selected children from Year 2 represented the school this morning, along with Hazel Wood, at the Totton Remembrance Service. They all did an amazing job and we are very proud of them for taking part.

    Open Mornings

    Lydlynch Infant School are pleased to provide ‘Open Mornings’ for new prospective Parents of children starting school in September 2023.

     

    What does an ‘Open Morning’ look like?

    • A guided School tour by the Head of School/Executive Headteacher
    • An opportunity to see our school in action and meet the staff
    • A time to ask questions about our School to help you make your choice

    Year R's sports day was a great success. Thank you so much to all our families for attending, joining in and cheering on the children, it was lovely to see you all. The children all had an amazing time and thoroughly enjoyed themselves.

  • Summer Fayre

    Lots of fun was had at our Summer Fayre on 10th June. The sun shone for us and lots of families attended to help raise money for the school. The magician was lots of fun and we had the official opening of our play trail. Some amazing prizes were won at the raffle, the face paints looked fantastic and children enjoyed soaking some of the teachers in stocks. 

     

    A big thank you goes out to everyone involved in making the fayre a success and to all of our families for attending. 

  • Jubilee Day 27.5.22

    Our children had an amazing, fun packed day celebrating the Queen's Jubilee. The created artwork in the morning, had a picnic outside and spent the afternoon playing traditional games.
